Sheleana of Young and Raw's smoothie prescription of the day! She says, "drink this dairy free shake to boost your mood, nourish your body, build and repair muscle tissues and tantalize your taste buds!" This recipe is jam packed with healthy essential fatty acids from coconut and protein from raw vegan brown rice protein powder! The additional maca and vanilla bean add a malty sweetness while the frozen bananas thicken it up and give it that milkshake consistency. Tocotrienols (rice bran solubles) are added for extra vitamin E antioxidant protection not to mention the sweet creamy flavor they lend. Sheleana also states that if you'd like to keep this recipe lower in fat just substitute the coconut meat for more bananas!

Ingredients

1 cup coconut meat

2 frozen bananas

2 tbsp. tocotrienols

1 tsp fresh vanilla bean

2 tsp maca

1 scoop vanilla warrior blend protein

2 cups vanilla almond milk

1/5 cups coconut water

 

Directions

1) Blend on high for 30 seconds or until smooth and enjoy. If you are allergic or don
