This smoothie by La Tortoise is guaranteed to satisfy even the hungriest of bellies. Young coconut meat, bananas, soaked almonds, maca, and raw cacao: a truly timeless and satisfying combo. Think of this smoothie more as a full meal instead of a snack- it is rich in energy and healthy carbs. Maca and cacao have also been shown to help boost mood and energy levels making this a great smoothie to fuel a workout or a busy day. Enjoy!

Ingredients

150 g fresh coconut meat
2 bananas
24 almonds, soaked overnight
200 ml water
1 tbsp maca powder
1 heaping tsp raw cacao powder

Directions

1) Throw everything except cacao powder in a high-speed blender and blend until perfectly smooth. Pour half of it into a glass, add cacao powder to what is left in the blender and blend again.
2) Pour the cacao smoothie in a glass and serve.

It
