This recipe by Karielyn Tillman of The Healthy Family and Home may be the ultimate comfort food smoothie- full of nutrition and protein, and just rich and sweet enough to satisfy a dessert craving without having to be tempted by something unhealthy. Choose jungle peanut butter for a truly raw version, or use a Dastony nut butter of your choice such as sprouted almond or sprouted sunflower. ENJOY!


1 cup homemade almond milk
5 tablespoons organic vanilla protein powder (your favorite vegan brand)
2 tablespoons organic raw cacao powder
1 heaped tablespoon organic peanut butter
1 tablespoon organic maca powder

For the garnish

1 tablespoon organic raw cacao nibs


Step 1
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

Garnish with raw cacao nibs, if desired.
