At Dastony great nut butter is the name, and simplicity is the game. Our butters are single-ingredient, meaning the true flavors of the nuts and seeds aren't overshadowed by added salt, sugars, or oils. Our signature low temperature stone grinding process minimizes heat, friction, and oxidation, preserving vital heat-sensitive nutrients. This ancient method also produces the absolute silkiest, most decadent texture imaginable. Highly versatile, our butters are a pantry essential, lending added creaminess, flavor, and nutritional goodness to a variety of recipes.

I agree with another reviewer here who described the flavor as "grassy mud". I am not a picky eater, and some things I eat just because they are good for me, but this tastes so muddy that I feel like I need to sweeten it. I mixed it into my morning yogurt and the flavor is so strong that it overpowered everything else. I prefer the sprouted pumpkin seed butter by the same brand. For cost, I think I'll stick with Sunbutter or the fresh cashew butter from the market.
This is a butter you acquire a taste for,,then you love it. Really creamy,,definitely sunflowers and they are sprouted for better digestion releasing enzymes The jars are small
First off, this brand taste nothing like peanut butter and has a bit of a bitter taste which takes some getting used to. After a couple of tries, I loved it. I especially love that it has been sprouted for easier digestion and more nutrition. I will buy again.
We have tried a couple different brands of sprouted sunflower butter. This one had the best texture. As other reviewers noted, this one doesn't have the "peanut buttery" kind of texture, but I actually prefer this one - a little less sticky and easier to spread on fragile items. Only reason not 5 stars for me is that wow, you do pay for the sproutedness!
We were excited to try this because it is sprouted and most likely has very good health benefits. We are not picky eaters----this tastes and feels like eating grassy mud. Most of the sunflower seed butters do add sugar which isn't great but it just has a peculiar taste and texture.
High quality sunflower seed butter. I agree with other reviewers that it does not taste like other sunflower butters on the market (such as a popular one like Sunbutter), but that's because it's sprouted. In my experience some foods take on an earthy-like taste after being sprouted, and sunflower seeds fit into that category. This product tastes sprouted, and that's exactly what I was looking for. It is definitely pricey, but I want the health benefits of sprouted sunflower seed butter without the time commitment, so I think it's worth the cost.
